Alcohol Detox That Works for Your Schedule

When considering your alcohol detox options, we encourage you to call our clinic for a consultation. We know how difficult this decision is to make. You have to decide that you have personally had enough and that you are unwilling to continue to live the life of an addict, always controlled by your desires. Addiction is consuming, all-encompassing, and destructive, but you know this. What you don't know is how much easier it is to move on with your life than it used to be. Thanks to medication and modern addiction therapies, you can recover and move on without experiencing some of the terrible withdrawal symptoms.

Alcohol Detox That Works

Our program works because it was designed with you in mind, to make your life as easy as possible. We cannot get clean for you, but we can certainly empower you to do so and give you the tools you need along your journey. When you first visit our clinic, we will meet with you one on one to discuss the goals you have, your concerns, and your lifestyle. This allows us to make an informed decision on whether or not we feel our treatment will be the best ones for you. Typically, it is, because everything we do is highly personalized, rather than trying to fit all our patients into a standard treatment model.

After meeting with you, we will create an individual treatment plan that may include:

  • Medication. There are medications you can take to make it easier for you to stop drinking. They essentially trick your brain into thinking that you have what you need, so you are not constantly looking for the next drink.
  • Therapy. We can provide you with individual therapy so you do not have to go into group sessions unless you want to. While Alcoholics Anonymous is incredibly helpful and successful, we have found that the fear of speaking in group settings and being exposed personally prevents many people from taking the important step to get clean. But by offering you individual therapy as needed, we can take away that fear and anxiety.
  • Relapse prevention. Many programs stop at detoxification, but that is only half of the battle. Once you are "clean," you need to stay that way. We will work with you to create a plan for relapse prevention so you can stay alcohol-free. This requires planning, a support structure, and sometimes, prescription medication.
